ECON 101: Principles of Microeconomics

Undergraduate course, Emory University, Department of Economics, 2026

Instructor of record, Fall 2026.

My goal in Principles of Microeconomics is to help students develop an intuitive understanding of how economists approach questions about markets, incentives, and resource allocation. I build core models step-by-step and emphasize their application to real-world questions, encouraging students to move beyond memorizing economic concepts to using them as tools for analyzing unfamiliar problems. In particular, I discuss applications of microeconomics in the last few lectures, including current research topics.
