What Students Say

Coming into ECON 201, I was told to be aware of the difficulty of the course, but Lucie crafted the material in an approachable way and was always present to answer additional questions.

Lectures were clear and concise. They showed good examples combined with practice sets we solved that facilitated learning effectively.

Lucie was very good at breaking down the structure of the class — especially with the lectures, worksheets, and problem sets. She always brings professionalism and a great attitude to help students understand the material and learn at their own pace. I would definitely recommend her to other students.

Lucie always made sure we were aware of deadlines for assignments and that we were up to date with upcoming assessments. I appreciated the clarity and flexibility she maintained with us, as well as her organization of the course.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Prof. Lucie — she constantly went above and beyond for each and every one of her students. She always came to class prepared and organized. Intermediate Microeconomics is a hard subject to learn, and I’m sure an even harder subject to teach, but Lucie handled it with absolute grace. When she knew I was confused on a certain subject, she would come check on me in class to make sure I was doing alright on that day’s worksheet. She also handled accommodations really well, making sure each student had what they needed to do as best they possibly could. I was nervous coming into this class, but Lucie was nothing short of amazing, and I am leaving with the highest praise.
